As far as just sitting it on his back it is the first saddle that has set level on him. He is a little over weight right (Spring is finally here!) now but has very prominent withers. Thank you for your help, the saddle is stunning and rides amazing!

Gigi and Bernardo,
I cannot express my happiness with my Iliad! I have kissed it at least a dozen times. I thought about bringing it home and sleeping snuggled up to it :)
C-Note is also elated. We are both riding in comfort for the very first time. This is the beginning of a new era for the two of us. Believe it or not, I had him slightly working on the lateral the 2nd day I rode him with the Iliad. That is a trick for a Walking horse, and for me as I had just learned how to ask a horse to work on lateral the day before. Communication is a whole new game now. We are both eager for the new tricks that are now within our reach. Thank-you for solving my saddle dilemma, AND for finding an affordable way for me to Step Up! So very grateful.
I have two new friends...well, actually 3: Gigi, Bernardo, and my new Iliad!

It was such a pleasure to finally have the opportunity to meet you in person at Fairweather Farm. The Verhan saddle is by far the best saddle I have ever purchased in my 30 years of being a dressage rider. You truly take enormous pride in each saddle you create.
